The Living Bejeebus.
Five received this remote controlled T-Rex for Christmas from my mother. Rex tends to end up all over the house, as someone will play with him, walk him around for a while, and get tired of him, leaving him to stand wherever he may.
I've scared the living bejeebus out of myself about 32 times already today because he's standing in the family room and I keep walking by and being startled, but ultimately I'm too lazy to pick him up and put him away.
In my defense, I did take my husband's unironed shirts that have been hanging since Thanksgiving to the cleaners to be pressed, so I've worked hard today and I'm tired.

So funny. That sounds just like me. After the 50th time, I would think to pick it up. GREAT job on the shirts. You DESERVE a break after that girl. Way to go! You inspire me. Hee Hee.
I'm thinking you're secretly liking getting startled!
Yeah, I still have some dry cleaning on the floor in my closet I haven't taken yet either from the beginning of December, so I'm right behind ya'. I think it's the out of sight out of mind thing for me. Maybe I'll just go put them in my car right now. Thanks for reminding me!! Now hopefully I won't forget by the time I leave this computer and go to the closet. Hahaha
And you being a mom = working hard every day all day. Kids + shirts = foot rub.
My daughter used to have this Big Bird that talked -- I think it was light activated. It was always being left places and I was always scaring myself silly by walking into a room late at late expecting quiet and that stupid thing would speak up and I'd shriek. And I'm not much of a shrieker.
I did laundry all day long ... and did the family checkbook thing ... I hate working that hard ... today I'm just surfing the blogs!
have fun,
pam
Sari.. you are the women!! :) with all the work you just did, I think you need to take the rest of the week off and rest..;)
I'm LOL so hard about passing the T-Rex and never picking him up.. that is me all the way. Mr Man got this bird that repeats what you say(toy bird) for christmas and he left it in the livingroom yesterday and everything anyone said got repeated in bird voice the whole time Mr Man was in school. Even though it was making me batty I never did think to go put the thing away LOL.
